JYD Group’s Purpose for Obtaining R2v3 Certification (Electronic Waste Responsible Recycling System):
With many years of experience in electronic waste removal and disposal, JYD Group decided to obtain R2v3 Certification with an aim to strengthen communication and relationships with international customers. “R2” is short for “Responsible Recycling”, which is designed to support legal and responsible operating processes and has been recognized as a third-party international certification standard in the waste recycling industry. The main purpose of R2v3 Certification is to ensure that electronic waste is utilized in a rational, safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable manner and that all equipment data is safely destroyed, which will enable subsequent reuse. JYD Group’s compliance with this operating standard enables the Company to play its part in achieving a circular economy.
R2v3 Policy Statement:
1. Develop and review policies on quality, the environment, health and safety, and security on a regular basis to achieve and meet the highest standards of the electronics recycling industry.
2. Comply with all environmental and health and safety laws and regulations set by local or central authorities.
3. Comply with all national import and export laws and regulations. All equipment, components or raw materials (including key materials) imported or exported by JYD Group must comply with import and export laws and regulations.
4. Comply with customer or product requirements and other industry codes of practice, including R2v3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
5. Manage electronic waste that has been reused according to the following hierarchy for optimal utilization of resources: (1) Refurbishment/Reuse, (2) Raw Material Recovery, and (3) Energy Recovery.
6. Manage the Company’s key materials listed in R2v3 from the perspective of protecting employee health and safety, public health, and the environment.
7. Ensure a safe working environment for employees, manufacturers, visitors, dispatched workers, temporary workers, and other personnel working at JYD Group to avoid occupational accidents and injuries.
8. Identify potential occupational incidents and diseases that may occur and improve the environment or implement measures to address concerns.
9. Advocate the avoidance of pollution in any form in the course of company’s day-to-day operations.
10. Work with all downstream suppliers, customers, and contract partners in the company’s recycling chain to realize environmental, health and safety, and responsible recycling concepts.
11. Continuously improve the company’s quality, environmental, and health and safety practices for better performance.
